Beth Evans is a visual artist working from The Tannery Print Studio in Adelaide. She received her degree in Visual Art and Design from Adelaide College of the Arts and then completed her Honours at the University of South Australia. Her work includes printmaking and artist’s books.
Much of Beth’s artwork takes its inspiration from her former career as a health professional and her ongoing interest with the human form and its functionality. Other works come from her personal history and present an often-outlandish story intended to both amuse the viewer and take them back to their childhood.
She has shown in national and international exhibitions and completed residencies in Norway, India and Hungary. In 2020 Beth was selected to do a residency at the Fondazione Il Bisonte in Florence, Italy, which she plans to attend when practicable.
