About the project The Rhino Project features the work of 8 Bittondi Printmakers, using a range of printmaking techniques to interpret Albrecht Dürer's 'Rhinocerus.' in 1515 the famous German printmaker, Dürer, captured the imagination of the art world with his woodblock print titled ‘Rhinoceros’.  At the time of making the print he had never seen a rhinoceros, but his curiosity and the Western world’s love affair with fearsome and glorious beasts from other continents combined to bring the rhinoceros into our…
