Photopolymer intaglio workshop with Julia Wakefield
Photopolymer Relief and Intaglio, Julia Wakefield April 8 and 22 2018, 10am - 4pm. Participants can attend either or both of these workshops. Print Club this month is on Saturday April 28, 11am - 3.30pm. We will have on display some of the prints that were made at Bronwyn's 'True Grit' workshop. Members are invited to suggest a topic, otherwise we will discuss any recent discoveries/residencies/workshops members have made/undertaken/participated in. Print Club is YOUR club, for all members, full and associate, to contribute to, so we welcome suggestions for exhibition venues, comments on studio arrangements, ideas for future Bittondi projects etc. etc.…

As always, Open Studio is on the last Sunday of the month, which this month will be April 29. Like Print Club, this is a day when associate members can come in and work with a supervising member present, and it's also a day when members of the public can come in and explore the studio, ask questions about printmaking, purchase work and enrol in workshops. Print Club is on Saturday June 16 this month, 11am - 3pm. All members and associate members are welcome. We are collecting matted prints to exhibit at the Aberfoyle Park Library, so if you have some bring them along on Saturday. If you are coming, contact Julia on 0433975590. After lunch we'll be looking briefly at waterless lithography, so if you've never heard of this process come and bombard us with questions! Hopefully we'll run a workshop soon.

This one-day-workshop will provide you with the basic elements of photo-emulsion-screen-printing and will introduce you to an economic way of transferring your own designs using the emulsion premix, a transparency, a halogen lamp and some basic home items.
