I studied at the SA School of Art, and hold degrees from Adelaide and Flinders universities, and the University of SA.
In 1975 I was awarded a national scholarship to research prints in the British Museum. On my return to Adelaide I taught a major in printmaking and art history within TAFE award courses and later within the BVA program at the Adelaide Central School of Art where I was head of the faculty of art history & theory from 2011 – 2015. In 2008 I helped establish the Bittondi Printmakers Association Inc. My printmaking practice has centred on etching, using images that relate to the presence of place and our relationship to the environment.
More recently I undertook artist residencies at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice and at the Guanlan Printmaking Base in southern China and developed a course in the history of prints for the Adelaide Central School of Art.
