Nadia Caon works primarily at her home studio as well as shared studio spaces such as Bittondi. She is an emerging artist graduating from UNISA with a Degree in Visual Art majoring in printmaking in 2017. In 2019 Nadia was awarded a mentorship grant by the Helpmann Academy to work alongside master printmaker Dianne Longley at her studio in Trentham Victoria.
Nadia produces artworks using a myriad of techniques including screen printing, metal plate etching, collagraph printing and printing using photopolymer plates.
She draws inspiration from the power of inanimate objects to tell complex stories. Much of her art work involves transforming and re-constructing these objects, contemplating their history and paying homage to those that have lived in and with them.
