Camilo Esparza



Camilo is a Fellow Member of The Royal South Australian Society of Arts RSASA since 2018 and an active member of Bittondi Printmakers Association since 2016. Originally from Bogota, Colombia; but an Adelaide resident since 2008. Camilo is a self-taught artist and printmaker who learned the artistic ways from his Dad Eduardo Esparza, a stablished Colombian Visual Artist.

Camilo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences form the National University of Colombia and a Master’s Degree in Global Food and Agricultural Business from The University of Adelaide. He teaches Agribusiness to international students at a private College in the Adelaide CDB, working on his prints and artworks until late hours of the night and on the weekends. Camilo’s most popular theme is marine life and he uses a range of techniques including linocut, woodcut, mezzotint, etching and aquatint, screen printing, collography among many other techniques that he experiments with.
